On-set Conditions

Property Masters are expected to be both resourceful and adaptable on set. Changes can happen at any time, breakdowns never capture all the expectations of the Director and digital props not always have reliable internet connections.

The Remote Control app weathers this volatility in real-time, by offering core smartphone animations you really need in any condition.

Multiple users can access the same production, which makes it ease to hand over the control from one Prop Master to another.

Features

The simulated "OS" (operating system) design of SetOps is built from the ground up to be brands-free and avoid any clearance issues.

The scenario animations are based on a character <> phone <> scene structure. Each prop smartphone is synced automatically with the Controller and will recognise its assigned actor and scenes. Each scene can have an unlimited amount of actions, and each phone can be used by multiple actors.

The Props Controller supports all the core mobile phone interfaces. At any time, you can tweak the look and feel, but starting on-the-fly with a few clicks works just as well.

It takes just a few clicks to personalise each character’s phone with multiple background and personalisation settings.

Calling
The meat and gravy of the app are the wide range of “calling” scenarios. No matter if the call comes in, goes out, is missed or hung up, the app has you covered. With direct remote control, or timed if that fits the need of the moment.

Notifications
At any time in the flow of the scene notifications can be displayed, either timed or by direct command of the prop master. All the details are customisable, but if the available character data is sparse, the notification knows how to work with less as well.

Made with love in Belgium, the SetOps apps take our multi-lingual heritage to the advantage. The Player App interfaces are currently available in 8 languages.

Made by Prop Designers, we wanted to capability to "break out" of the app and integrate with our favourite prototyping tools. The external feature allows designers to expand the core mobile app interfaces with unlimited customisations.
